Officially known as the magnificent Mount Ventoux - John's painting here is simply named Ventoux. Situated in Provence in the South of France other nicknames include Bald Mountain or the Windy Mountain due to the fact the mistral winds on the summit can reach up to200 miles per hour.
You may recognise it from the Tour De France.

On a recent trip to Totnes John and Sandi thought they would treat themselves to lunch. They decided to try the a deal at the Royal Seven Stars inn. John took a few pictures as he was so impressed.
